Greetings once again,
I hope all is well. I hope that you have been enjoying the refreshing Mint series; this will be the final part.
I love drinking tea, regardless of the season.
My favourite types of tea tends to be ones made from fruit and of course, mint.
However, A few months ago, I purchased this box of various teas that I have been enjoying since the quarantine.
Recently, I took mint leaves from my mint plant and a pomegranate tea bag and created a wonderful cup of tea.
You can go back to the first post to find the benefits of mint.
Pomegranate is known for its antioxidants among other things.
Tea helps with relaxation and keeping one focused.
I personally love drinking tea for breakfast, when I am studying, watching a show, or at night. So basically, whenever I can.
Recipe:
Mint leaves/tea bag
Pomegranate tea bag
Hot water
Your favourite cup
Steep for as long as you desire (in my family, we just leave the bag in there).
**N.B: Mint can be overpowering, so for the perfect blend of the pomegranate and mint, start with fewer mint leaves.
That’s it. Enjoy.
This was my first series. I sincerely thank you for following this journey and I hope you enjoyed. If you should try out any of the recipes, please tag me on Instagram @simplayannareece.
Until next time, Peace be.
