Greetings once again. I hope you are all well.
In this post, I will be continuing the Refreshing Mint Series.
This time I would like to focus on Cold Mint Infused“Hot” Chocolate.
I personally love to make hot chocolate as a treat with my breakfast, on exam days, or long weekends.
I also love to make it for myself during the cold winter nights.
However, with it being summer and my family’s love of the mint infused water, I have stumbled upon mint infused cold-hot chocolate.
We already went over the benefits of mint from the last post in this series, but dark chocolate is full of antioxidants, increases blood flow, and is beneficial to the heart and skin.
However, my recipe is not made with a dark chocolate mix, but you can always use it over the regular hot chocolate mix.
Recipe
(Based on a 24 oz cup):
A packet of hot chocolate mix or 5-6 table spoons of hot chocolate mix
3 tablespoons of milo
½ tablespoon of coffee (optional). N.B: The more you use, the more bitter it becomes.
1 teaspoon of vanilla
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of nutmeg
¼ cup of almond milk (optional)
Fill it up with the mint infused water and mix.
Sometimes I place it in the refrigerator so that it is extra cold.
I use this as a treat for slow mornings or just to relax. It’s good to take care of yourself and allow yourself to relax, for then you’ll find the inner resources you need to become re-inspired, rejuvenated, and re-motivated.
I hope you liked this
Until next time, peace be.
